I think someone was saying there was a problem with the res shrine being too close to the gates of Kryta so that sometimes you rezed and zoned.

As for those complaining about the Courier, as long as you are aware that a jade (at least in hm, haven't tried in nm) now spawns with the pop up group just before the ravine where the sin/ranger spawn is, the run isn't all that bad in hm. Just finished in hm with two spirit rits and a mm hero. Took 11 minutes The jade spawn is about the only dangerous spot. If the jade targets Falken it can be hard to keep him alive.

6 war supplies as a reward is a bit low to want to farm this for gifts but as long as the (hopefully) new weapons or whatever only require one medal each it would certainly be worth doing now and then.

Farming for an HOUR [in NM for an average, casual gamer like me] to get ONE Royal Gift that will almost certainly give me crappy item is NOT fun, it's the grindiest grind possible.
Seriously, those runs were the reason why after many years I was still logging in just for an hour or two last days, did them, had some fun and that's it. Now I'm totally not going to bother, will only do bouties and bye bye for a day. If that's how they want to keep the active player base and good standing economy, then GG. Please gimme the WiK final then and cya in few months, probably.
/totallydisapprove
Yeah, I'm in the same proverbial boat, being a casual NM gamer. Guess I missed my chance last week to store up.

Very true, but I feel anywhere you can give the opportunity for players of all levels to PuG...is a success.

Then why not just boost the HM reward for those die hard HM junkies? Theres always bound to be someone that would rather die several hundred times for say..10 more supplies in HM (I know I would). I dont see the need for them to drop the reward on NM to 2-3. Maybe 6, but 2-3 is just not something I'm gonna go outta my way to get while I'm in the area. Then again 6 in HM against these mobs isnt something I'll be farming either...reward does not equal the effort here. And makes the couriers addition pretty pointless...

IMO a good balance would be something like 6 in NM and 15 in HM.

The courier nerf was way overboard.

2 supplies per run means you need to do it 8 times to get enough for 1 gift. Even in Hard Mode 3 runs, and since he is not infused he dies REALLY fast if he is the target of the jade.

It's almost more efficient to just farm peacekeepers for confessor orders now.

Yes, it was discussed in the "new bounties" thread. It happened to me a lot, not on second wipe but random, it's very annoying. I was only able to complete than one bounty with no death at all.

Apart from that I totally have to eat back what I've said here previously about new bounties. They're not too difficult (cerris and some other were waaaaay more) and I had fun doing them, both for the new dialogues and for the new teams composition. A nice challenge but not frustrating.

Also..uhmm..it's me being lucky today and totally unlucky before of they changed drops? Before I was only getting crappy drops, all whites (and even poor ones, like 20 golds each) and trophies. Today I had more normal drops for hm (tomes, pass-partout, dyes and weapons more on 100golds).

Oh and the drakes with peacekeeper mobs. Is it me who did never notice them or are they new (well not from today but not even from the beginning)?

Nope, drakes have been there all along - not sure if they are independent or if they act as a pet for one kind of peacekeeper or another.

Uh, I read only drakes and not pet-drakes, strange thing. And they're many in a single group, so many classes having a pet?

I have 6 characters doing these...all NM I dont find HM really appealing (though with my hero set up--mm, sos, and monk--I have had very little issues running thru the mobs inluding bauer quite quickly, and no I dont bring the totally useless henchies along--olias has enough bodies without them).

I really would like them to release what the heck the medals are for so we can decide IF we want whatever it is they will be exchanged for or not----so I can convert all mine to royal gifts with my .000000000000000000000000000001 chance of getting a mini (blue scrolls ftl)

Only 1 wanted quest today for a whopping 4 supplies.

So much for adjusting rewards...

Also, the conset items that you get from the Royal Gifts, which may be useful for vanquishing (my ranger is getting vanquisher and it is expensive FYI). Getting such items from Royal Gifts is MUCH cheaper than trying to farm the common crafting materials to get those consets yourself.
You really need cons to vanquish? What about get some skills instead? That'll spare you a lot of money.

Neither were the 2 from last night; however, I'm just going by yesterday's update that said they've readjusted the rewards for these bounties...this one hasn't been.

It simply wasn't balanced.

The harder the challenge in game, the greater the reward.
The easier the challenge, the lesser the reward.

Thats how every single game on the market today works.
If you want a challenge you can play in DoA or UW or HM dungeons. Just because some people like their game to be difficult doesn't mean all of us enjoy that. None of the rewards for War Supplies were the same as the elite areas so this was just a nice casual reward for casual play. Some of us enjoy casual play with casual builds and casual teams. It's a shame we can't do that and make money/get some items unless it's a grind.

Look, even if I have proper skill setup with my heroes and pick up the henchies, vanquishing is still a pain in the ass. That's why consets are really needed for vanquishing. Consider Joko's Domain, which is a total hellhole to vanquish (and I need help on that).
